I don't have a date of immigration for James Biddlecombe but he probably came from England about 1655.  I suspect that he married shortly after that but no exact date is known with present research.  Their marriage is listed in the documents in collected by the National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century 1915-1988 but only listed as names - "Biddlecomb, James (ca 1633-ca 168-) m. Mary Brassiur. Planter".  [Bott page 4]

James Biddlecombe or Bedlecomb witnessed a codicil to a Last Will and Testament of George Ludlowe in York County, Virginia dated December of 1655. He had to have been over 21 years at this date. He most likely was born in England before 1634.

1655, Oct 23 -  James is a witness to a Codicil

1687- James Bedlecomb lived in the area of North Farnham Parish in Richmond Co., VA. (then Old Rappahanock Co.) A notation was made that James Biddlecombe was dead by Aug 30, 1687.

Mary Brassieur Biddlecombe marries for a second time to Samuel Peachey after 1690. He dies in 1713 and she becomes executor of his estate.

1713- Mary Biddecombe Peachey dictated a last Will and Testament to Captain John Tarpley in May 1713. In this will she named her granddaughter Mary and Elizabeth Tarpley, her daughter Mary Tarpley, to whom she gave half her property. The other half went to James Biddlecomb and Elizabeth Jones' children. She identified Elizabeth as her daughter. Presented by Mrs. Mary Tarpley, and proved by John Tarpley, gent., who wrote the will by Mrs. Peachey's direction.
