1835- 27 May - Rebecca marries Dempsey Benton Cain. ( his 1m to Sarah McCall 25 Dec 1832 - no children).
1836 - Dempsey P. Cain, a probable uncle to Dempsey B. Cain, is elected to Sheriff of Franklin Co., Miss. He is also a gunsmith and master carpenter also operated a tanning mill near the race track. [Hadshy, ]

Rebecca
are still in Franklin Co., Miss. He is listed as a blacksmith.
They
apparently are doing rather well but besides the above listed
children
they also have two other Hollaways living with them. The two
Hollaway
boys were probably orphaned of Rebecca' s brother George who
in died
