1830 -  Drury Graden is in Dekal Co., GA, US Census

31 July 1830 - Codicil to will of Drury Boyce. James Graydon, son of Mathew Graydon.

1840 Feb. 20, -

Sterling Graydon (as he signed), Asbury Terry(as he signed) and John M. Terry(as he signed) become executors to the estate of Thomas Gradon. They post a $10,000 bond as executors and agree to pay bills and heirs as required. Money is owed to John M. Terry, Wm Terry, Asbury Terry, Sterling Gradon, John Graden, G. Poole, Wm Gradon, W. G. Vinson, Drury Gradon, Nancy Gradon. Included in the estate were nine slaves with an estimated value as follows: - (man) "George" $585, (women) "Charity" $375, "Chloiy" $700, (boys) "Jacob" $750, "Dick" $900, "Addam" $850, "Washington" $775, "Joshua" $500, "Bob" $450.

(These records indicate to me that all of these individuals are heirs to the estate through either direct descendancy or marriage consequently the inclusion of the unknown female heirs in the above list of children. Elroy C.)

1853 - Graydon, Sara Mrs. 84 years old died October 21, 1853 at the home of her daughter in Greenville District. She was a member the Baptist Church for 30 years. [Laurensville Herald, 12/16/1853, p2]

1854 -  Price, Elizabeth Ms. married Henry Eustace both of Laurens District on November 9, 1854 officiated by a Sterling Graydon Esquire. [Laurensville Herald 11/17/1854, p2]

1856- Graydon, B. F. of Laurens District enlisted to emigrate to Kansas, [Laurensville Herald 3/21/1856, p2]

1857 - Graydon, James advertised with 60 acres of land and 200 acres of land for Sheriff Sale on the first Monday in January 1857. [Laurensville Herald 12/12/1856, p3]

1860 - Graydon, Eliza was a distributee in the estate of Sally Madden and William Madden Sr. both deceased and resided without and beyond the limits of the State of South Carolina, [The Laurensville Herald 2/3/1860, p3]

1860 - Graydon, Starling was a distributee in the estate of Sally Madden and William Madden Sr. both deceased and resided without and beyond the limits of the State of South Carolina, [The Laurensville Herald 2/3/1860, p3]

1871 - Graydon, Sarah Ann Mrs. was delinquent in 1870 property taxes for 50 acres of land. [Laurensville Herald 7/14/1871, p3]
