2002, Feb 3 Irvin Grimland born
Aug 21, 1922 dies in Texas.
Irvin
apparently
received the Purple Heart during WWII as a pfc in the U.
S. Army.
I don't know what the history of the Purple Heart award was for
but normally for being wounded in action.
Both Irvin and Vernell are buried in Our Saviour's Lutheran
Church,
Norse, Bosque Co., Texas.
