 Most of these records are maintained in local archives and were microfilmed by the LDS. We still have an incomplete history of this family and I look forward to information that can complete the lists of the children.  The traditional district of Oppland is now named Innlandet  which is oriented around the Gudbrandsdalslagen river drainage area.  It is broken into many municipalities including Nord-Fron, Sør-Fron,  Gausdal, Ringebu, Øyer, and Lillehammer.

A document in O. Rygh's "Norske Gaardnavene" in 1378 to 1668.  I have not been able to translate the documents other than the intro.  It seems to be written in Icelandic or ancient Norweigian.  It relates to an agreement between Archbishop Nikulas and King Haakon Magnussøn.
