"Hans Michael Reisner is the original Risner immigrant from Germany. He was born in 1706 in Germany. In 1732 he sold his land in Germany and sailed from Rotterdam Holland with his wife and 2 children to New World. In 1738 he got an original deed for 200 acres in North Western MD near present Thurmont MD. He is my 5th great grandfather on my father's side and my 6th great grandfather on my mother's side. The original Green Spring Farm is still called Green Spring. This memorial was set on his Green Spring land in 2007.

Hans “Michael" Reissner, born 11 Mar 1706, village of Gemmingen (a few miles west of Heilbronn) Wurttemberg-Baden, Germany (Note: Between 1806 and 1945, it was in the Grandduchy and later State of Baden. Before 1806, it was in the dominion (realm) of the Von Gemmingen and Von Neipperg families). He was the son of Johann (Hanns) Michael Reissner and Maria ‘Barbara’ Besch. He married on 18 Jan 1729 in Gemmingen….Margaretha Catharina 'Anna Catharine' Hammel. She was the daughter of Hanns Hammel and unknown. Hans Michael and Catharine had 10 Children."   possibly written by Bob Whittaker 2007 from Find a Grave

Jan 3 1729: Margaretha Catharina Hammel, the daughter of the late Hanns Hammel, cottager in Stilzendorf, has applied for a certificate about her legitimate birth and good conduct, which she needs in order to marry in Gemmingen. This request was considered reasonable, so we now certify, as we have known her behavior since she was young, that said Margaretha Catharina Hambl was born to honest parents in ligitimate manner, is not burdened with bonded serfdom or any other obligation, and has always conducted well while she was living here."
