The family develop here are from the correspondence and records of Lief Erik Thorstensen and laid out on Ancestry.com in 2015. The geographical location of this family has been difficult to figure out since several old counties just west of Oslo, - Buskerud, Ringerike, and Akershus have been merged together as Viken county. Hole and its old church is the main location for the Dyreson family but is very small village on a rather large lake of Tyrifjorden.
There are still a few questions about the different children's
birth
dates and the possible mothers. We also don't understand why
these people moved so far north in the mid 1400's or early 1500's.
I suspect it was due to fleeing from the plague.
