1758 - Hugh Roney is born.
This history of this family is not completely understood by me. Hugh Roney was said to be the brother of Maurice Roney. The Shelley family is quite intertwined with the Roneys through the marriages of the widows of both Luke and Benjamin Shelley. Hugh Roney, the elder, marries the widow of Luke Shelley. His nephew Hugh Roney, son of Maurice, married the widow of Benjamin Shelley.
