I have no further information on this family.  This area presently is a major tourist destination for Norwegians from Oslo and regions south.  The river affords good fishing and wonderful views of the valley.  It also contains part of Norway's first national park. 

The listed relatives seem to have stayed in the area for a couple of hundred years.  They may have been involved in farming, fishing and logging.  In the early years the river could have provided easy transportation of logs to the south end of Lake Mjøsa at Minnesund, nearly 174 kilometers.  This is also a major river for migrating salmon. 

Although the church in the distance is quite the landmark, this particular church was not built until 1792.  The previous church was probably a stave church such as seen in Lom.
